The Kinder Goat
What started out as an accidental breeding has led to the intentional cross between a Nubian doe and a Pygmy buck. The purpose of the breed is to provide a small goat that consumes less feed and takes less space without sacrificing the desirable characteristics found in a dairy goat and a meat goat.
In the 20 years that the Kinder has been around, this goat has proven itself time and time again with milk production records that match and sometimes even surpass a standard size of goat. This fact, coupled with the better tasting milk and the option of using culled goats for meat makes it a very appealing all around breed.

Hi Karen,
You might find more breeders at the links to the right. Especially the Kinder Breeders. I hope you find some goats.

We were considering some alpines or nubians, but I think the kinders sound perfect for us. Looking for a family milk supply for 4 people in central NY.
Now, where can I find some to buy?
Thanks,
Summer
